The Cusco Gastronomic Tour of 5 days and 4 nights is a unique experience for lovers of Peruvian gastronomy and culture. City Tour Vip

It is a complete tourist experience that will take you to visit the most emblematic places of the city of Cusco. Among the tourist attractions that you can visit are the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral of Cusco, the Temple of the Sun or Qorikancha and the fortress of Sacsayhuaman. In addition, you will have the opportunity to explore the neighborhood of San Blas, known for its cobblestone streets and craft stores.

Cooking Class

This is an ideal activity for lovers of Peruvian gastronomy and culture. During this experience, you will learn how to cook traditional Peruvian dishes such as ceviche, lomo saltado or aji de gallina, with expert local chefs. You will also be able to taste the dishes you have prepared and enjoy a cozy and fun atmosphere.

The Sacred Valley Rap

This is a tour that will take you to explore the impressive landscapes of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, located in the surroundings of Cusco. You will be able to visit the towns of Pisac, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero, and get to know the ancient Inca constructions, such as agricultural terraces and temples. In addition, you will have the opportunity to learn about the culture and history of the Incas, and enjoy the panoramic views of the Peruvian Andes.

Machu Picchu Tour

This is one of the most popular and exciting tourist experiences you can have in Peru. The Machu Picchu tour will take you to explore the mythical Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. You will enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, and learn about the history and culture of the Incas. In addition, you will have the opportunity to climb Machu Picchu Mountain or Huayna Picchu, for even more impressive panoramic views.

Day 1: Arrival to Cusco- Ciy Vip 3800 meters

• Pick up from Airport or Terminal
• Transfer to your hotel in Cusco

• Pick up at the hotel 12:50 to 13:00pm
• Visit to the Inca temple Qoricancha (1 hour approx)
• Transfer to Sacsayhuaman (10min approx)
• Guided visit to Sacsayhuaman (1 hour approx)
• Transfer to Huayllarcocha community (15 min)
• Visit to the South American camelids (45 min aprox)
• Guided visit to Qenqo
• Walk in the eucalyptus forest.
• Return to Cusco.

Day 2: Cooking Class Tour In Cusco 3400 mts.

• At 7:30 am pick up from downtown hotel.
• Beginning of the tour, indications by our guide.
• Visit and interaction in the San Pedro market
• Preparation of typical Peruvian dishes
• Preparation of pisco sour
• End of the service

Day 3: Sacred Valley RAP 2700 mts.

• At 8:00 am pick up at your hotel.
• Beginning of the tour, indications by our guide.
• Visit to the Textile Handicraft Center in Chinchero.
• Visit to the salt mines in Maras
• Lunch in Urubamba
• Pottery class in Cerámicas Seminario Urubamba
• Visit to the Archaeological Center in Ollantaytambo
• We board the train to Aguas Calientes.
• Arrival to Aguas Calientes and rest at the hotel.

Day 4: Machu Picchu 2400 meters

• Breakfast at the hotel
• Transfer by Bus (CONSETTUR) to Machu Picchu
• Guided visit to Machupicchu (2 hours approx.)
• Return by bus to Aguas Calientes
• Travel by Tourist Train Aguas Calientes-Ollantaytambo
• Travel by bus from Ollantaytambo to Cusco.
• Arrival to Cusco city

Day 5: End of service

• At the appropriate time transfer to Alejandro Velasco International Airport.

DAY 01: PICK UP FROM THE AIRPORT – CITY VIP

• At appropriate time pick up from airport and transfer to chosen hotel.
• Accommodation in hotel.
• Pick up at the hotel, we will go to the temple of the sun Qoricancha. We will visit the most important enclosures and temples with the company of our professional guide in charge (1 hour approx).
• We will board our transport in the avenue the sun and we will go to the archaeological center of Sacsayhuaman, where we can observe the huge bastions that remain as the foundation of one of the largest temples built in Inca times. (1 hour approx).
• After the visit to Sacsayhuaman, we will continue our trip (15 min approx) to the community of Huayllarcocha.
• Upon arrival we will enter the Manos textile center of the community, where we will meet the South American camelids. We will be able to play and interact with them, we will also learn about the project of conservation and rational use of the raw material or wool of these animals.
• Then we will continue our tour to Qenqo, this place was very important and sacred in Inca times. Many important ceremonies and rituals were performed here because of its great connection with mother earth.  Our next point of visit will be the eucalyptus forest, where we will have free time for memorable photographs.
• We will return to the main square where our tour ends.

DÍA 02: Tour Clase de Cocina en Cusco

• We start in the morning, we will pick you up from the hotel and transfer to the local food market of San Pedro, which operates every day of the week with a variety of delicious items such as: cheeses, huge chuta de oropesa breads, tropical fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices, fresh coca leaves and also some “strange” products that will leave you amazed.
• At the San Pedro market you will receive a briefing from our chef about local ingredients (aji amarillo, quinoa, a variety of potatoes, zetas (mushrooms), aguaymanto, etc.) and you will also have the opportunity to buy them and negotiate prices with local suppliers.
• Then, our chef will invite us to his place, where he will have his apron ready, to begin the private culinary lesson. We will begin with the preparation of the most famous Peruvian drink, our delicious Pisco Sour, then the chef will continue the preparation with you of the Peruvian appetizers and main dishes and to close with a flourish they will prepare a delicious traditional dessert.
• You will be part of all the preparation and will have the opportunity to interact with the chef, it will be a rewarding experience between stories and pictures. Learn and enjoy with us the best of Peruvian cuisine, it will be an unforgettable experience.

DAY 3: SACRED VALLEY RAP

• The tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas starts picking you up at your hotel between 07:30 hrs and 08:00 hrs. Then we will start our journey to the Sacred Valley, we will stop in Chinchero where we will visit a handicraft textile center. We will learn about the plants and natural inputs they use to make their ancestral dyeing and weaving techniques.
• We will take our transportation again and travel to Maras for about 40 min. We will visit the salt mines, a unique group of more than 3,000 salt ponds in full operation. Each of the ponds is located a little lower than the previous one on the mountainside, which gives the landscape a unique and almost ethereal appearance.
• We will then board the bus and drive through the Sacred Valley to the town of Urubamba where we will have our buffet lunch.
• After lunch we will head to Cerámicas Seminario, where we will find exhibition rooms filled with pieces of art. The pieces are handmade by a local staff who learned the style from the Seminario couple, who make the utilitarian and decorative pieces.
• Our next point of visit is Ollantaytambo “The Living Inca City”, where we will ascend the stairs to the temple of the sun where we will have an incredible view of the surroundings (45 min).
• We will go to the train station in Ollantaytambo to take our train to Aguas Calientes.
• We will arrive to Aguas Calientes and we will go to the hotel to rest or visit the city.

DAY 4: MACHU PICCHU TOUR

• At the agreed time after breakfast at the hotel, we meet the guide at the bus station to board the bus that will take us to the sanctuary of Machu Picchu travel time is about 30 minutes.
• Upon arrival of the bus we will find the entrance door to the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu where we present our income, passport or identity card.
• Together with the guide we will enter the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu and we will have a guided tour of approximately 2 hours, where we will know the important points of the Inca citadel.
• At the end of the tour we will have free time to take pictures in Machupicchu.
• Then the guide will say goodbye to us, so that we board the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes, where we can enjoy a delicious lunch at a restaurant of your choice.
• In the afternoon we will have time to visit the handicraft markets or a short walk through the city.
• At the appropriate time we will board our Vistadome train arriving in Ollanta. 1.40 hrs. arrival to Ollantaytambo train station where our staff will be waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel in Cusco. 1.50 hrs

• Free morning for shopping, visit to the central market or a museum in Cusco.
