DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 01: Pick up from the Airport – Sacred Valley Rap
- At the appropriate time pick up from the airport and transfer to our hotel in Cusco.
- The tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas starts picking you up at your hotel between 07:30 and 08:00 hrs. Then we will start our journey to the Sacred Valley, we will stop in Chinchero where we will visit a handicraft textile center. We will learn about the plants and natural inputs they use to perform their ancestral dyeing and weaving techniques.
- We will again take our mobility and travel to Maras for 40 minutes to visit the salt mines, a unique group of more than 3,000 fully functioning salt ponds. Each one of the pits is located a little lower than the previous one on the side of the mountain, which gives the landscape a unique and almost ethereal appearance.
- Then we will board the bus and cross the Sacred Valley to the town of Urubamba where we will have our buffet lunch.
- After lunch we will head to Cerámicas Seminario, where we will find exhibition rooms filled with pieces of art. The pieces are handmade by a local staff who learned the style of the Seminario couple, which elaborates the utilitarian and decorative pieces.
- Our next point of visit is Ollantaytambo “The Living Inca City”, there we will ascend the stairs to the Temple of the Sun where we will have an incredible view of the surroundings (45 min).
- After the tour to Ollantaytambo we will leave you very close to the train station on foot (5 minutes), we will board the train according to the chosen schedule and we will have a journey of 1h 30min to Machu Picchu Pueblo.
- Arrival to Machu Picchu Village where the hotel staff will be waiting for you at the exit of the station, with a small sign and your name.
- At night our guide will contact you to arrange your visit to Machu Picchu the next day.

Day 02: Machu Picchu Tour
- At the agreed time after breakfast at the hotel, we will meet the guide at the main square Manco Capac. Then we will go to the Consettur Station to board the bus that will take us to the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, the travel time is about 30 minutes.
- Upon arrival of the bus we will find the entrance gate to the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu where we present our income, passport or identity card.
- Together with the guide we will enter the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu and we will make a guided tour of approximately 2 hours, where we will know the important points of the Inca citadel.
- At the end of the tour we will have free time for photographs in Machu Picchu.
- Then the guide will say goodbye to us, so that we board the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes, where we can enjoy a delicious lunch at a restaurant that you like.
- In the afternoon we will have time to visit the handicraft markets or a short walk through the city.
- At the appropriate time we will board our Tourist Train with arrival in Ollanta. 1.40 Hrs. Arrival at Ollantaytambo Train Station where our staff will be waiting for your transfer to the airport in the city of Cusco. 1.50 Hrs.
