DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1: SACRED VALLEY

  • The tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas begins with a pick-up from your hotel between 07:30 AM and 08:00 AM,
  • Then, we will embark on our journey towards the Sacred Valley, stopping at the Taray Viewpoint, where we will observe the Sacred Valley.
  • We will then board our vehicle and travel towards Pisaq, around 11:00 AM, where we will visit the Pisaq Archaeological Site, which includes a visit to the market in the town of the same name. Approx. 45 minutes.
  • We will take the bus and cross the Sacred Valley to the town of Urubamba, where we will have our buffet lunch.
  • At 2:30 PM, after lunch, we will head towards Ollantaytambo, “The Living Inca City,” where we will ascend the steps to the Temple of the Sun, where we will have an incredible view of the surrounding area. (Approx. 45 minutes)
  • After the tour in Ollantaytambo, we will head towards Chinchero, where we will visit an artisanal textile center. We will learn about the plants and natural materials used to create their ancestral dyeing techniques.
  • We will continue our journey to the Chinchero Archaeological Site.
  • Upon returning to Cusco, we will drop you off in the city center so you can enjoy dinner or take a walk around the Plaza de Armas of Cusco.
