DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1: TOUR IN CUSCO – WALKING TOUR
The tour begins with the pick up from your hotel and then we will go in our mobility to the neighborhood of San Cristobal (Qolqampata), located in the upper part of the city to have a panoramic view of the city.
Continuing with our tour we will arrive to the Qantupata neighborhood where we will enter the street of 7 borreguitos, one of the most beautiful streets and visited by tourists where we will have some time in the huaca sapantiana (Inca shrine) and then visit the colonial aqueduct of this Huaca, we will also have a stop at the colonial bridge of Choquechaqa to share a little of the history of the place we continue with the walk and arrive at the neighborhood of San Blas exactly to the Tandapata street.
This neighborhood is also known as the “Barrio de los Artesanos“, which is characterized by its narrow and long streets, and what to say about its striking and rustic colonial mansions, its small squares, its staircases and the most attractive of this tour is that the entire road and the walls are made of stone, we continue the tour towards the street 7 diablitos, 7 angelitos to reach the beautiful viewpoint of San Blas, where we will have another beautiful view and time to enjoy this great place.
To continue with this fascinating experience we will know another important point known as the route of the Qapaqñan (the network of roads of the Inca), then descend to the main square of the neighborhood, enjoy its water fountains.
Then we head to the street of “Hatun Rumiyoc” to visit the stone of the 12 angles, we will have some time to dress in a typical costume of the area.
We will arrive at the main square of the city, surrounded by the imposing and beautiful colonial temples where we will have time for photos and explanation about the place, then we will continue our tour visiting the Basilica Cathedral, the temple of La Merced, the temple of San Francisco to finally head to the local market of San Pedro where we will have a time and an unforgettable experience.
At the end of our tour we will have the afternoon free to visit the surroundings of the city.
