Start of the Day: Welcome and Pickup
The tour begins in the afternoon, generally around 1:00 p.m. The tour guide will pick you up from your hotel or a central meeting point in Cusco. During the transfer, you will receive an introduction to the city and an overview of the itinerary.

The tour continues to the Temple of Koricancha, the most important Incan sanctuary dedicated to the Sun God. Its perfectly assembled stone walls showcase the architectural mastery of the Incas. Here, you will learn how the conquerors built the Convent of Santo Domingo upon its foundations. 
Exploring Sacsayhuamán
Next, the tour heads to Sacsayhuamán, an imposing Incan fortress built with enormous stone blocks. Its strategic and ceremonial importance makes it an essential place to understand the history of Cusco. 
Discovering Q’enqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay
The tour continues with a visit to Q’enqo, an archaeological site used for religious ceremonies; Puka Pukara, a military fortress with panoramic views; and Tambomachay, known as the “Inca Bath” for its sacred water fountains. 
Return to Cusco: Connection with History
After visiting these sites, the tour concludes with a return to Cusco, approximately at 6:30 p.m. You will have time to reflect on the historical and cultural richness you have just discovered.
